Sarthak
Kohli
Evidence-based physiotherapist with a focus on restoring movement, alleviating pain, and empowering clients to lead fuller lives.
"The body has an innate capacity to heal, my role is to guide, support, and amplify that process."
Dedicated to the art of recovery
I graduated from the Bond University, Australia in Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2026 with a strong academic record and over 1,400 hours of supervised clinical practice across seven diverse placement environments.
My approach integrates the latest evidence in pain science, biomechanics, and exercise physiology with genuine attentiveness to each patient's unique context, goals, and values. I believe effective physiotherapy listens as carefully as it treats.
Having trained across orthopaedics, neurology, intensive care, private practice, and sports medicine, I bring a breadth of clinical understanding to every assessment, enabling me to see the whole person, not only the presenting complaint.
Outside the clinic, I remain active as a trail runner and table tennis player, grounding my professional perspective in a lived understanding of the demands, and rewards, of physical activity.
Clinical specialities
A broad clinical education combined with focused interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological recovery, and preventative care.
Orthopaedic & Sports Rehabilitation
Post-surgical and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, from ACL reconstruction to lower back pain. Evidence-based progressive loading and return-to-sport planning.
Neurological Recovery
Applying neuroplasticity principles in functional rehabilitation for stroke, TBI, spinal cord conditions, and MS. Gait retraining, balance work, and upper limb recovery.
Chronic Pain Management
Grounded in contemporary pain science, helping patients reframe their relationship with pain through education, graded exposure, and lifestyle integration.
Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
Specialized cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and early rehabilitation in the ICU, including MHI, suctioning, percussions and vibrations, and mobilization and transfers, to support recovery and optimize functional outcomes.
Preventative & Postural Care
Movement screening, ergonomic assessment, and corrective exercise programming, identifying dysfunction before it becomes injury and building long-term resilience.
Exercise Prescription
Individualised therapeutic programs balancing progressive overload with recovery, tailored to each patient's goals, from acute rehabilitation to performance conditioning.
Clinical placements
Seven clinical placements across multiple locations, spanning the full spectrum of physiotherapy practice from acute inpatient care to high-performance private practice.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Lifemark.
Athletic Training/Physical Therapy
Stanford Cardinal football team, focusing on sports injury assessment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization. Experience divided between the Sports Medicine Clinic and the Athletic Training Room in a multidisciplinary, high-performance environment.
Intensive Care Unit
Intensive Care Unit, focusing on respiratory care and physiotherapy management of critically ill patients. Experience included manual hyperinflation, suctioning, and cardiorespiratory assessment. Independently managed 5–6 ICU patients by the end of placement under clinical supervision.
Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy
Cardiorespiratory Ward, focusing on cardiovascular and respiratory assessment and treatment. Experience included airway clearance techniques (ACBT, PEP, OPEP), patient mobilization, and exercise-based rehabilitation. Involved in patient prioritization, discharge planning, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated patient care.

What colleagues & supervisors say
Feedback from clinical supervisors, multidisciplinary colleagues, and patients across my placement sites.
Sathak demonstrated an exceptional ability to build therapeutic rapport quickly. Her clinical reasoning was methodical and patient-centred, and her manual therapy skills were already at a level beyond what we typically see in new graduates.
Working alongside Sarthak in our neuro ward was genuinely impressive. He understood the complexity of our patients intuitively and contributed meaningfully to team discussions. Her pain science knowledge is particularly strong.
Sarthak has a rare combination of technical competence and genuine empathy. He took the time to truly understand my goals and explained every step of my rehab clearly. I felt heard and in good hands from day one.
Open to opportunities
Whether you're a clinic seeking a dedicated new graduate or a patient looking for physiotherapy, I would be delighted to connect.
